In severe obesity
Surgical stomach reduction
In severe obesity, a conventional surgical stomach reduction as part of Weight Doctors BARIATRICS® may be an option – from €2,500 including private-practice pre- and aftercare, with a chance of cost coverage by German health insurance where the medical indication is in line with guidelines:
- Gastric sleeve: an established method of stomach reduction
- Gastric bypass: stomach reduced, small intestine rerouted

Where exactly is the obesity centre in Berlin, and how do I get there?
At Friedrichstraße 71, 10117 Berlin, not far from the Brandenburg Gate and Gendarmenmarkt. Friedrichstraße station and Stadtmitte U-Bahn station are only a few minutes’ walk away; from BER airport it is about 30–40 minutes in total by FEX or S9.
