Unfulfilled wish for a child due to excess weight

An observation that gives pause for thought

Brigitta Lahode, Managing Director of Weight Doctors®, had already been accompanying people on their way to a weight they feel comfortable with for over 14 years when this article appeared (2020). One thing kept making her think: often there were women patients sitting with her who were not only suffering from the many extra pounds and had by then become very demotivated, but who also simply were not getting pregnant. Many attempts had failed – doctor’s visits, hormone therapies, without success.
