Weight Doctors® in the Netherlands new location in Waalre near Eindhoven
In May 2023, the Weight Doctors® Group took over a specialist clinic in Waalre near Eindhoven – the first location in the Netherlands.

Weight Doctors® takes over specialist clinic in Waalre
Getting better together, setting priorities and expanding the medical offering further: with this aim, the international Weight Doctors® Group took over a specialist clinic in Waalre in the greater Eindhoven area in May 2023. Today, Weight Doctors® Waalre treat patients there.
The Dutch clinic for specialised medical care in the growth region of Eindhoven is a rather small but fully licensed facility. It stands for particularly personal care, a treatment concept without time pressure and without long waiting times, and for high patient satisfaction.

A team with many specialities
Since 2006, doctors from orthopaedics, plastic and aesthetic surgery, bariatric surgery, general surgery, dermatology and aesthetic medicine have been caring for their patients in Waalre – at the time of the takeover there were 45 of them.
This approach, combined with great professional expertise, has always characterised the internationally oriented Weight Doctors® Group as well. The specialist care offered in Waalre until now is being continued and expanded by the specialists on site under new management.

What Weight Doctors® bring with them
Weight Doctors® specialise in medical treatments for weight loss and offer minimally invasive procedures, for example temporary or permanent stomach reduction. In the spirit of body positivity, they help people to feel good in their bodies again – lasting weight reduction wherever possible, without constant dieting and the yo-yo effect, can be an important building block for this.
The company, based in Dortmund, was represented in 2023 with several locations in Germany, branches in South Africa and a team in Namibia, and has extended its offering to the Netherlands with Waalre. The aim is to help shape medical obesity treatment in the Netherlands in the long term.
