Weight Doctors® in Hanover specialise in the treatment of excess weight and obesity and offer a broad range of treatments that can support you in reducing weight. The methods are gentle and are tailored individually to your needs.
At Wohlenbergstraße 4D in 30179 Hanover, Weight Doctors® treated their patients as outpatients and inpatients, in a comfortable and discreet atmosphere. The team around Dr. med. Roland Mörmel, specialist in internal medicine, was responsible for treatment, care and closeness to patients.
The specialised team of nutrition scientists, dietetic assistants and obesity specialists – at the time represented at 12 locations in Germany – continues to accompany patients intensively after the stomach reduction or the placement of a gastric balloon, too.
Support is provided by the Weight Doctors® App, which is connected to a smart Bluetooth scale. In this way, weight-loss progress, exercise and sleep behaviour can be followed conveniently.
Anyone in Hanover who decides on a stomach reduction or a gastric balloon also finds in the app a guide with all the important building blocks of knowledge: on the course of healing, the right medication, nutrition and exercise, and on building your own mental strength. With the Weight Doctors SLEEVE®, Weight Doctors® in Hanover offer a gentle, permanent stomach reduction without an operation. In this minimally invasive procedure, the stomach is gathered from the inside so that it takes on the shape of a gastric sleeve. The stomach volume becomes markedly smaller, so that only a small amount of food has room.
This can reduce the feeling of hunger and prolong the feeling of fullness – and help you to maintain your desired weight in the long term. Results vary from person to person.
If you are not yet ready for a permanent stomach reduction, a gastric balloon can be a good start. It reduces the capacity of the stomach, so that you can feel full sooner. In Hanover, various gastric balloons are available – for example a swallowable balloon or balloons that are placed endoscopically and stay in the stomach for six to twelve months.
Also new to the range in 2023 was GLP-1 therapy with a weekly injection. It can regulate the blood sugar level and help to get cravings under control.
Weight Doctors® Hamburg has moved to a private clinic in the centre of Hamburg for its procedures. Your consultations will continue to take place at Rothenbaumchaussee 20.
